Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.  Hourly rate is complemented by a comprehensive benefits package which includes group health insurance, paid holidays and sick time, accrued vacation, and life insurance.  Probation and eligibility periods apply.

FABRICATOR

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Assistance in fabrication of lantern parts through various processes
  • Have the ability to fabricate parts for approximately 65 fixtures per week, while maintaining quality
  • Assists in the monitoring of raw materials inventory
  • Assists in the monitoring of completed parts inventory
  • Inspects outgoing parts to assure quality
  • Aids other departments as deemed necessary
  • General cleanliness, clean housekeeping all while maintaining equipment

FINISHER

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Produce a finish on lanterns using a five tank coloring process consistent with existing standards
  • Ability to maintain work pace equal to the department’s incoming work, while maintaining quality
  • Assist in the monitoring of raw materials inventory
  • Assist in the monitoring and completing routine scheduled maintenance of equipment, i.e. pumps, fans, water levels, temperature gauges, and filters
  • Inspects outgoing parts and liquids to assure quality
  • Aids other departments as deemed necessary
  • Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment

ASSEMBLER

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Be able to read and follow directions and instructions from supervisor
  • Have the ability to produce 55 fixtures a week, while maintaining quality
  • Able to read a measuring device
  • Must be able to work with glass and cutting glass pieces
  • Able to identify and find parts to assemble all makes and models of our lanterns
  • Have a memory and knowledge of building standard parts
  • Adaptability, multi-task and patience
  • Be able to work closely with co-workers
  • Aids other departments as deemed necessary
  • General cleanliness, clean housekeeping all while maintaining equipment
